Antique English Bone China Floral Cake Plate. c.1870s

Hand painted over a floral transfer in pink, blue and green.

The gold gilding around the rim was applied with a sponge.

 With a slight swirl in the body this plate measures 23 cm x 24 cm approx. including the embossed ear handles.

In remarkable condition with some wear to the 22Kt gold gilded rim.

 No maker's mark which is quite common with antique china. Pattern number 9446 taken from previously sold pieces. English antique bone china c.1870s.
