Myott Meakin Exotic Garden 1.5 Pint Teapot c.1970s

Exotic Garden 1.5 pint teapot from the Dynasty Collection made by Myott Meakin. 

A cream earthenware squared body with a  green peacock and foliage and powder pink flowers on the front and reverse of the teapot. A branch and leaf border under the green rim and a flower motif on the lid. A tiny area of wear to the green glaze on the rim.

Capacity 1.5 pints which will comfortably fill 5 standard vintage teacups.

Straining holes in the spout for use with both loose tea leaves and tea bags. A lip on the side of the lid keeps it securely in place whilst pouring.
