Duchess Winchester vintage 1960s bone china teapot.

This teapot has a round bone china body, decorated with a band of dark red around the rim and lid overlaid with a gold filigree pattern, gold leaf classical flourishes, and gold gilding.

Capacity one and a quarter imperial pints - enough to fill 4 standard teacups.

There are straining holes at the base of the spout for use with loose tea leaves and tea bags. A lip on the lid holds it securely whilst pouring.

Duchess. Bone China. England. Winchester. - Made in England by A. T. Finney, Longton, Staffordshire Potteries. Date c.1960s.
