Royal Albert, Crown China Poppyland pattern milk jug and sugar bowl c.1927.

A hand painted over transfer pattern of blue and yellow poppies and green foliage.

Milk jug 10 fl.oz. - a quarter of a litre capacity.

Sugar bowl 11.5cm wide at the rim x 7cm tall approx.

The pattern is repeated inside the sugar bowl rim and both pieces have gold gilded bases and rims.

A teeny tiny red paint smudge on the jug which was done during the painting process and a tiny area of gilt wear on the pouring lip.

Almost 90 years old and in excellent condition.
