Roslyn China vintage Imari style Cake Plate or Bread and Butter Plate. c.1924+

Bone china decorated with a transfer printed pattern which has been hand painted in cobalt blue, terracotta,and lime green with lovely bright gold borders. Gold detail on the 'ear' handles and rim.

The panels in the border have been framed with gold. Originally intended to sparkle and shine in candlelight.
