Tuscan art deco cake plate with leaf pattern.

Made from fine bone china in a clotted cream colour with an apricot rim. Hand painted over transfer print, this cake plate features an art deco style leaf pattern with geometric motifs. Mustard yellow, rust, green, blue and black glazes have been used to paint the leaves. The elegant stems follow the curves of the plate. Touches of pale peach highlight the embossed corners.
