Alfred Meakin Royal Marigold 'Elstree' pattern vintage 22.5cm plate. c.1930s

A cream coloured plate with lovely border of pink, blue and yellow flowers and green foliage. The inner border is a ribbon of yellow, green, terracotta with tiny blue dots. A scallop shaped gold gilded rim with the scallop shape repeated in bands around the edge.

A tiny bit of wear to the gold gilding on the rim as shown in the above picture. Fine earthenware which rings just like bone china.
