"The beautifully illustrated pattern was inspired by a delicate rose painting by the 18th Century painter, William Billingsley and originally launched in 1957. Specially designed for the Queen and Prince Phillip to use as their own personal dinner service, a collection of Royal Pinxton Rose was gifted to the royal couple during a visit to Derby in 1957." A beautiful frilly rimmed plate with hand painted pink roses and gold foliage. A 4mm wide gold rim with an inner dot border and gold flourishes on raised portions of the frill.
