A beautiful vintage bone china cake serving plate. c.1937

The floral pattern on a cream background is of a pink Tudor rose for England, a blue thistle for Scotland, a yellow daffodil for Wales and green shamrock for Northern Ireland. A green & yellow leaf border runs along the rim.
The cake plate is 23.5cm x 24cm wide including the ear handles. The handles are the same cream colour as the pattern background and have their embossed shape picked out in gold gilding. The gold gilded rim has a tiny bit of wear in places.
