A fabulous Antique Cauldon Chariot Blue & White Teapot.
A round body teapot with a classical Roman scene of a temple and chariot. The border around the top of the teapot, the handle and spout are in the design of a corinthian column capital ( top of the column). This teapot has a swan neck spout and an elegant curved handle with thumb rest. Finished with a high gloss glaze.
Capacity 2 Pints.
The transfer pattern is in superb condition with no signs of wear.
A few minor blemishes on the inside base. Straining holes in the spout for use with both loose tea and tea bags.
