Royal Stafford Violets Pompadour Vintage Bone China Tea Set with Teapot. c.1950s

 This tea set includes six teacups, saucer, tea plates, a milk jug & sugar bowl, a cake plate and a one litre teapot.

 A lovely delicate pattern of pink, blue, lilac and yellow flowers with hand stippled 22 kt gold gilding.

 Six 14cm saucers.

 Six 16.5cm side or tea plates.

 Six 8.5cm wide x 7cm tall teacups.

 The teacups have a little flower motif on the inside.

 Sugar Bowl 11.5cm wide x 7.5cm tall. Milk Jug 8 fl.oz. ( 250 mls) capacity.

 Teapot one litre ( 1.75 pints) capacity.

 There are two lips on the teapot lid to keep it firmly in place when pouring.

 With straining holes in the spout this teapot is suitable for both loose tea and tea bags. Although the inside rim has some wear to the gold gilding it can't be seen with the lid in place and it is most unusual for this area to be gilded.

 Cake or Sandwich Plate 24cm x 24cm.
