Coalport Pageant Cake Plate and Server c.1970s

Vintage Coalport Pageant pattern large cake plate and a cake slice.

This superb bone china cake plate features a Jacobean style floral pattern in blue, lilac, turquoise, green and yellow. Swirls and petals have been hand painted in royal blue enamel. Gently curved around the edge, with a large scalloped shape to the rim to make it extra special. Soft gold finishes the rim.

The cake slice handle is made by Cutlass and Coalport. Made from ceramic and decorated with a tiny version of the pattern on the plate. Please note, there is an old hairline crack, but still perfectly good to use. We have reflected this in the price.

Size 26.5cm diameter at the rim. The flat base is 20cm or 8" approx.
