Shelley Cherry Blossom Pattern Fine China One Litre Teapot 1930s

A Shelley fine bone china vintage teapot date c.1930s. Capacity one litre or 2.2 pints.

This beautiful teapot has a rounded body and a curved handle painted in a pale green glaze. An elgant spout with hand painted flourishes. A pale green finial on the lid and green enamel on the rim.

Featuring a transfer printed, pretty pink cherry blossom design on both sides.

The pattern is repeated on the teapot lid.

The lid has a safety lock to keep it in place whilst pouring tea. Straining holes at the base of the spout mean this teapot can be used for teabags and loose tea leaves.
