Foley China Cottage Garden pattern vintage bone china Tennis Set. c.1950s

Designed to hold a cup of tea and a sandwich or piece of cake with one hand. Perfect for taking tea 'al fresco' and for buffets.

A clotted cream colour with hand painted over transfer cottage garden flowers in blue, pink, lilac, yellow and green. A pale blue wash to the teacup handle and a pale blue line inside the top of the teacup.

Teacup 8.5cm wide x 7.5cm tall approx. Tea plate / saucer 17cm x 20c wide. There is an indented area to place the teacup and both pieces have gold gilded rims.

Vintage bone china in excellent condition with just a little bit of wear to the gold gilding on the tea plate / saucer rim.
