Antique Duchess fine china teacup, saucer and tea plate. c.1907
This exquisite tea trio is made from delicate fine bone china and hand decorated with a charming flower design. A border of royal blue glaze framed with hand painted gold swirls. Little pink roses and lavender coloured flowers, bright green flourishes and lines of gold with tiny leaf shapes.
Antique china has a pleasing tactile quality. Attractive curved edges with gold around the rims.
Frilly rimmed teacup 9cm wide x 7cm tall. 14cm saucer and 17cm tea plate.

Some minor flaws are to be expected with antique china as the manufacturing process was very expensive and all sound pieces were acceptable. This delightful teacup collectible is in remarkably excellent conditon for it's age.
