Royal Albert Crown China - Royalty pattern Imari style vintage teacup, saucer and tea plate.c.1932
c.1932 This stunning tea trio is made from bone china and decorated in Imari colours. A cobalt blue glaze over a rust coloured transfer print. A bold art deco design with hand painted dark orange flowers and bright green leaves. Gold on the teacup handle, foot and around the rims.
Gold has been hand painted around the decorative panals. In bygone times, gold was used more liberally on chinaware than it is today and would sparkle under soft candlelight.
The teacup is Royal Albert's Hampton shape 7.5cm wide x 7cm tall approx.
