A unique vintage three-tiered cake stand in pale green, blue and gold.
Created by Cake Stand Heaven from beautiful vintage fine bone china plates.
The top tier of the cake stand is a gorgeous Spode Ruskin pattern tea cup. In pristine condition this antique tea cup was made in England c.1891+. It has a grass green glaze, a floral lace pattern in gold and hand painted flowers on the inside. Gold gilding on the handle. Complemented with a vintage Salisbury bone china saucer with a border in sky blue, hand painted scalloped design in gold around the rim and a gold leaf and berry pattern.
The middle tier is an Adderley best bone china green and gold plate from the 1930s. With hand painted colourful flowers in the centre and a pretty border around the rim.
The base tier is a Royal Albert art deco style cake plate dating from the 1930s. An understated plate with a wide border of pale green glaze and hand painted dots around the rim in gold. The corners of the plate are an elegant fan or shell shape. The rims are painted with gold.
Sizes - Base plate - 22.5cm x 22.5cm. Middle plate - 17.5cm. Saucer top - 14cm.
All in excellent condition. Completed with your choice of a gold or silver centre fitting.
Use for afternoon and high teas, or dress it up for a Mad Hatter's theme tea party!
