A 1940s mismatched vintage traditional 3 tier cake stand.
Square English bone china plates with different coloured rims.
Top Tier: 16.5 x 16.5cm Shelley Bone China. Made in England. c.1940. Hand painted over transfer Physalis (Chinese Lantern) plant in bright orange with pale green and taupe foliage. This plate has a deep orange rim.
Middle Tier: 21 x 21cm Wellington China. Made in England by J.H.Cope. c.1940s. Hand painted over transfer springe flowers pattern in blue, yellow, pink and green. This plate has a gold gilded rim.
Bottom Tier: 24.5 x 26cm Sutherland China. Made in England by Hudson & Middleton c.1941. Hand painted over transfer yellow and blue flowers and enamelled bright orange flowers with green foliage. This plate has a blue rim.
We chose mismatched vintage English bone china from the 1940s to create this traditional square 3 tier cake stand.
This lovely cupcake stand is a unique creation by Cake Stand Heaven.
In excellent condition.
Vintage china often has a bit of wear to the gold gilding, tiny flecks or small paint smudges under the glaze or minor manufacturing flaws. This is quite normal and adds to the charm of vintage crockery.
