Tuscan Art Deco hand painted teacup, saucer and tea plate trio. c.1936
The colour of this china is a soft buttercream yellow with an apricot rim. The sides of the typical Art Deco shaped handle, the border below the handle and on the base of the teacup are a deep apricot colour.
This gorgeous china has hand painted leaves in mustard yellow, rust, green , blue and black. There is also a green geometric pattern which gives the impression that a tree is growing from behind a wall.
The face of the handle is a sponged brown bark effect with two black painted blocks.
Octagonal shaped cream coloured fine bone china. Teacup 8cm wide x 7cm tall.
Saucer 14cm wide. Tea Plate 17.5cm wide.
