1930s Pressed Glass Lidded Bonbon Dish

A round glass Bonbon Dish or Sugar Bowl with lid in the Empress design. Made by Bagley & Co. Ltd., Knottingley, Yorkshire. Reg. No. 790481 c.1934.

Art Deco Period Bagley Lidded Bonbon Dish

The bowl is 8.5cm deep and 11cm wide at the rim.  With the lid in place it is approx.15cm tall to the top of the finial.

Glass Dish with Cover Reg. No. 790481

The design resembles a diamond shaped lozenge with raised circular 'portholes'. There is a pie crust rim, a hexagonal finial on the lid and a twelve point star shape in the base.

Perfect to use as a sugar bowl or sweetie dish or for collectors of vintage pressed glass.
