Royal Doulton Nerissa 1940s Vintage Teapot, Jug, Sugar Bowl and Cake Plate Set

Royal Doulton Nerissa teapot with stand, cream jug, sugar bowl and cake plate set.

A cream glazed teapot with a floral design created with lines in apricot, moss green, reddish-brown and yellow. Late art deco style. Gold gilding to the edges.

Capacity 1.5pints. With straining holes at the base of the spout for use with loose tea leaves and tea bags. A minor stain on the rim. The teapot stand measures 15cm.

The sugar bowl measures 12.5cm x 6.5cm. The jug holds 8 fl.oz.

A round cake plate with earred handles. 22cm x 24cm (ear to ear).

Royal Doulton - Nerissa. Bone china. Made in England by Doulton & Co. Staffordshire Potteries. Date circa early 1940s.

In excellent condition. A little wear to the gold gilding in places.

Perfect to display in a period setting and for serving tea and cake.
