Antique Victorian large English china sugar bowl or sweetie dish.

The tablecloth pattern is reflected in the body of this gorgeous bowl - they are not marks on the china itself. The lilac rim is much paler than shown in these pictures - sometimes the colours are hard to capture.

On the inside there is a pale lilac border edged with gold gilding under the scalloped rim and a very pretty floral garland pattern.  On the outside there are little flower sprays linked by a gold line.

Wear to the gold gilded rim.

Such a pretty large sugar bowl which we would use to serve liquorice torpedos or cocoa powder covered truffles or even sugar with a mismatched vintage china tea set.

14cm wide x 8cm tall approx.
