Royal Doulton Art Deco period hand painted teacup and saucer. Reg. No. 702852 c.1929
14cm wide deep Saucer which is a quintessential Art Deco style. White fine bone china body with an inner pastel, salmon pink, hand drawn border, little pink and yellow flower heads, blue, pink and green foliage and grey 'branches', a yellow and grey outer border and a gold gilded rim. Completely hand painted and with a dainty pie crust rim.
The teacup has a gorgeous crimped, four sided foot which is painted in pastel salmon pink, a pie crust gold gilded rim amd a little pink and yellow flower motif inside. The teacup measures 8.5cm wide x 6.5cm tall and has an elaborately shaped gold gilded handle.
A fantastic collectors piece and a beautiful gift for someone special.
