A Royal Albert vintage bone china teapot c.1950s+.
A classic Royal Albert scenic pattern which was introduced in the 1930s. An 'impressionist' painted art deco style, with sponged pink blossom trees on a green and lilac background. Transfer printed. Trimmed with gold. Please note; a flaw in the pattern just below the rim. Marked as 'a second'.
The pattern is repeated on the teapot lid, with gold details around the spout, handle and finial.
Clean condition throughout. A lip on the lid holds it in place whilst pouring. Straining holes on the inside at the base of the spout to be used with loose tea leaves or tea bags. Capacity 1.2 litres or 2.1 imperial pints.
Bone china. Made in England c.1950s by Royal Albert - Thomas C. Wild & Sons Ltd, Longton, Staffordshire Potteries.
