Salisbury Floral Imari pattern vintage bone china teacup, saucer and tea plate trio.

A fabulously shaped footed teacup with panels containing hand coloured flowers, shapes of cobalt blue overlaid with gold filigree surrounded by terracotta swags and swirls.

The teacup is 9cm wide at the rim x 7.25cm tall and has a flower motif on the inside. The cup has a gold band at the base and gold gilding on the handle and rim.

Matching 14cm wide saucer and 18cm wide tea plate.

Vintage bone china trio made by The Salisbury China Co., Salisbury Works, Longton, Staffordshire, England. c.1959-61

One of the last designs made by this pottery before it was taken over by Thomas Poole and moved to Chadwick Street. 

In excellent condition.
