Kirstie's Craft Show will be broadcast on Channel Four, Wednesday 19th October at 8pm. Kirstie used two of our cake stands in a baking competition at the Devon County Show. Kirstie Allsopp returns in a new series entering some of the toughest craft competitions across the country. In the first episode in the series she enters a cake show in Devon.
If you have viewed our 'New in Stock' items lately you will have seen the start of our new collection of gorgeous mismatched vintage china boxed gift sets. We have selected pretty floral china teacups, saucers and tea plates and added a good sized sandwich plate to create a 'tea for one' gift set. Complete with a handmade artisan soap on a pretty floral china saucer. They make beautiful 'saucer soap dishes'. We think these lovely boxed sets will make perfect gifts for busy gardeners or a handyman/woman.
We will include a gift card with your message should you wish to send one and some special little touches such as a sprig of lavender, a mini bar of organic chocolate, a ribbon bow on the teacup handle, a mulberry paper rose and even a sealed Green Tea bag with lemon.
There is a classic boxed gift set for 'Him' as we know there are some gentleman who prefer an elegant china teacup to an earthenware mug. The gift sets are packed into a custom made rustic box, filled with rose coloured shredded kraft paper and tied with string and a Cake Stand Heaven tag. These are then placed into a double walled outer box ready to send direct to your recipient.
In these times of making every penny count it makes great sense to send a personal gift that will last for years. All our pre-loved vintage china is in excellent condition and our gift sets are created with attention to detail. Recycling china is eco-friendly, fashionable and great fun.
Express Delivery Across 'The Pond' We received a phone call from a gentleman in the U.S.A. on Wednesday 5th around 9pm GMT. He wanted to purchase two cake stands and have them delivered in time for The 83rd Genesee Valley Hunt Cup in Geneseo, New York which was taking place on Saturday 8th. Well you know how they say "Difficult we can do, but miracles can take a bit longer"? We set about that very night packing the cake stands and booking FedEx Express. The parcel was collected on Thursday morning and arrived at the gentleman's address in the U.S.A. on Friday. Now that's what I call service from FedEx. Time and again this courier has delivered to our customers all over the world at record speed. Our satisfied customer kindly sent us a couple of fabulous photos which we are thrilled to share with you here. Our Guestbook is open for any feedback you may wish to make.

Now that ladies and gentlemen is how to present an elegant and stylish spread! We are so proud that two of our 'Embroidered' 3 tier cake stands took pride of place to display all those tempting treats. It certainly looks like they had a fantastic time!
CHRISTMAS DELIVERIES Is it too early to talk about Christmas? Well it's just under 10 weeks away and we all know how quickly the weeks pass by. For the past two years we have had substantial snow fall and freezing temperatures which played havoc with UK deliveries. So just a little reminder that if you are planning to purchase gifts on-line for Christmas then it would be a good idea to start early just in case we get another snowy winter. Our standard delivery courier can take up to 5 working days to deliver so we are recommending that all orders for our standard delivery service are placed before 10pm on Thursday 15th December and even earlier should the snow start to fall.
Gift Wrapping
Should you require an item gift wrapped and you don't see an option for a gift box at checkout you can contact us and request this service. There will be an extra charge which will vary depending on the item(s) you purchase. We can send your gift direct to your recipient and include your greetings on a gift card. |
